assert( dynamic_cast<Siberia*>( Vienna ) != 0 );

Last weekend I had not much time to program stuff because I was assigned the task to carry boxes and furniture through the city of Vienna (german link). Hurra. At least I had some time to think about a nice way to write a software mixer. Unfortunately, the weather decided to remember the season named 'winter' which was completely missing until now and it started to snow heavily. Within several minutes, everything was white and although we were standing in Vienna, in the middle of the Altes AKH, it looked like we were in Siberia. But I was able to make some nice pictures to capture the snow:
So if you ever wondered how a tired thinking-of-software-mixer-implementations and snowily programmer looks like, now you know.

Well, on New Years Eve i was on an Open-Air-Concert in a stadium. The band was amused about the first row being in T-Shirts and that it was warmer that night compared to some summer open-airs. At midnight we had about 7 degrees Celsius.

Wow Niko, I love programming and contemplating about new algorithms to solve problems, but with such a beautiful goddess at my side a new algorithm to solve a programming problem would be the last thing on my mind.

I'm pretty sure I would be thinking of algorithms such as the following:

Problem: Its cold outside and me and a beautiful lady are outside working.

Solution
1.) (Niko Says) They put in a new heater at my apartment and boy does it really work well. Oh, buy the way it is really cold out here.
2.) (Beautiful Woman says) Yes it is.
3.) (Niko says) Oh I also just got "Pride and Prejudice" (The original BBC version) DVD because I knew you loved it.
4.) (Beautiful Woman says) Oh Niko your so great.
5.) (Beautiful Woman hugs Niko)
6.) (Niko says) I can't bear to see you in this cold let me take you back to my place and I will get you some hot chocolate and we can watch that movie I got for you.
7.) (Niko and his campaign manager have heated discussions :0) )
