OOD and Templates

When designing your object orientated software, aren't you using parameterized types alias templates alias generics? Yes, obviously you do. At least I do, heavily. So, then tell me, why is it such a pain to use templates in any UML software? For example, just try to return a vector of ints in an operation of a class. Painful. Fortunately, since yesterday this situation has changed, UModel 2005r2 has been released.
