Terror isn't the problem

Posted on:November 29 2010

Just read that a Congressman wants WikiLeaks to be declared a terrorist organization. Right. Dear politicians: Terror isn't the problem. It's you.
Mahatma Gandhi was a terrorist. Melson Mandela was a terrorist. George Washington as well as Thomas Jefferson (in fact, all the participants of the Boston Tea Party) were terrorists. Terrorists in fact are men labeled by politicians doing things the politicians fear. And not primary men doing things bad for the people.
Just a thought.

Thats not my definition of terrorists.

A terrorist is trying to scare a society.

But with that definition those politicans are terrorists too ;)

@pascal: that's true. Those are the ones who scare people.

While I agree that politicians are the problem (at least these politicians we have), I do not agree on the definition of terrorist. We have had too many acts of terrorism in Italy not to know the deep meaning behind that word.
