Shiny yellow helps

Wondered why about 80% of all people subscribing to the Ambiera newsletter didn't click the link in the confirmation mail they receive (double opt-in, demanded by law here in Austria). Now framed the info text in a big yellow rectangle:

Please Note: the confirmation mail may be found in your [Spam] folder.

Now the 80% fail rate dropped to 10%. Nice.

Thanks for the advice, added it to my own newsletter to.

This is the first time I hear about the Ambiera newsletter. Visited the site several times in the past but never stumbled over the newsletter link. Just a thought…

I know, but since a few days, the newsletter link is now a bit more visible on the left side, at least for coppercube and copperlicht for now.

I don’t need a newsletter, I rather like to check this blog in the morning :D
